Anglais: Big project "Into the Past" -google slides presentation- due on Thursday

Maths: Test coming up next week on Volume, Types of Triangles, and Measuring Angles. More review to come on Thursday with a test planned for Tuesday.

Field trip form coming your way soon regarding our year end field trips to Cinecenta and Willows Beach.

Bonjour,

Please be aware that I have posted assignment information in Google Classroom as so few students are checking the blog. I will begin posting more regularly in the Google Classroom as students get used to checking there for all subject areas.

Maths 43 & 44: Make sure pink handout questions relating to area and perimeter of polygons are complete for Thursday if not already finished.

Anglais: Assignment on analyzing primary source documents (Chinese Canadian History) is due Thursday. This was a handout from today that students worked on in partners or small groups.

Bonjours,

Maths: Please finish Questions #1 p. 134 and #3 p 135 from Lecon 2 (area of rectangles) as well as ALL of Leçon 4 (area of parallelograms)   * A = b x h and all answers in units squared

Anglais: Many White Jade Tiger assignments are still incomplete (due two weeks ago). Please ensure these are finished over the weekend and emailed to me or submitted on Monday.

Socials: Many students still need to complete their mini projects (due today). Please have these ready for Monday.

Don't forget about PE strip and form + $ for our May 30 field trip to the Museum.

Bonjour,

Reminder: Monday field trip (Eco-Rowing). Please be in the classroom ready to leave no later than 8:20am. Dress for the weather (layers) and bring snacks, lunch and water.

Devoirs:

Maths: Drawing including 3-5 polygons with perimeter calculations due after class on Tuesday. Ensure you have completed enough of the assignment by Tuesday so that you can finish in one block.

Anglais: Graffiti analysis due Tuesday. Questions relating to the graffiti specimens we analyzed (from the Royal BC Museum) are on the back of the "Vocabulary" handout.

Fral: Histoire de montres (due tomorrow).

Reminder to bring in all waiver forms (for Eco-Rowing) and permission forms (Eco Rowing on Monday and Museum field trip May 30th)

Maths: Please complete up to Question 4 on handout relating to finding perimeter of polygons. Use notes from today's class for shortcuts to finding perimeter.

Anglais: Answer questions from graffiti handout (on the back of vocab sheet). Be detailed and give specific examples whenever possible. This is due on Thursday.

Bonjour,

Maths: Test today on transformations (translations, rotations and reflections). Please bring protractor/geometry set to class as we are launching into our geometry unit this week.

Anglais: What did you learn about Chinese Canadian's experience in the early 20th century based on the poetry we read today? (Share with your parents).

PE: Share with your parents the technique used to throw a javelin and what they were used for in Ancient Greece.

Permission forms needed asap (as well as waiver forms) for next Monday's field trip. If you are a parent volunteer driver, please make sure you have all paperwork completed in by the end of this week.
